What is Remix
Remix lets you duplicate any project into your own chat and keep building or editing from there.
It works like cloning: you get the same project, and then you can continue customizing it. Remix is always free—no credits are used.
Where can I find the Remix button
You can Remix the current project from App World, Chat, or History.
App World: Open a public project in App World. Click the Remix button at the top right. You can rename the project before confirming.
Chat: In the highlighted version box, click the Remix button at the top right.
History: Choose a specific version of your history and click Remix.
When should I use Remix
Learn from others
If you discover a great project in App World, you can Remix it to get your own editable copy.
Step 1: Click Remix at the top right.
Step 2: Confirm in the popup and rename if needed.
Step 3: A new project opens in Chat. You can still check the original version in the highlighted box.
Save credits
If your chat grows too long (e.g., more than 10 versions), the model must reread the entire history each time, which increases credit use. Remixing into a new chat helps reduce costs and improve performance.
Step 1: Click the Remix icon in the highlighted box that shows the number of versions.
