Deep Research (DR) is a feature to conduct professional reports, including academic papers, business analysis, market reports, etc. MGX's Deep Researcher, Iris, takes over your complex tasks by searching for information, selecting reliable sources, and generating a report for your review
The report by Iris is structured, reliable, and traceable. Every opinion is supported by a credible source to avoid AI-generated hallucinations. You can transform the report to a website, PPT, PDF, or Docs with just one click.
It is not an ordinary search engine, but a professional researcher and a precise writer.
When you need reliable information and deliverable outputs, it's the best time to @Iris and use DR.
Notice:
DR is expensive, works only in Team Mode, and only supports gemini-2.5-flash/pro. It is better suited for complex projects rather than everyday questions.
How to use it
Step 1
Click the button at the bottom of the chat box.
Step 2
Choose Deep Research, and note that you can change LLMs in the right corner.
Step 3
Chat with Iris and provide her with the basic information about your project. Then, Iris will conduct research. After a short wait, you can download the report as a .pdf or .md file.
Alternative Step
You can trace any source on the page simply by clicking the reference number on the page.
Best Time to Use DR
For High Accuracy: academic research, business analysis, market research, or any professional report.
For Deliverable Outputs, such as Documents, PowerPoint presentations, or websites.
For Team Collaboration: DR can only be enabled in Team mode by default.
For Complex Strategies, DR provides a comprehensive research framework that is more structured and reliable than standard chat.

DR is automatically disabled after each message or Remix, and must be manually re-enabled.
DR consumes more Credits than a standard search. If Credits run out, generation will fail, so plan your usage in advance.
