How can I fix disk storage and cache issues for chat errors?

If you see the following error message:

"The current chat system file is corrupted. You can remix a previously correct version or contact the administrator for assistance."

There are three possible causes:

  1. Network Connection: Ensure your network is connected

  2. Browser Cache Issue: Try clearing your browser cache. Here's how:

    • Chrome:

      1. Click the menu ⋮ in the top-right corner → Settings.

      2. Search for "cache" or go to Privacy and securityClear browsing data.

      3. Select Cached images and files.

      4. Choose the time range (last hour / last day / all time).

    • Safari (Mac)

      1. From the menu bar, go to SafariPreferencesAdvanced.

      2. Check the Show Develop menu in the menu bar.

      3. In the menu bar, go to DevelopEmpty Caches.

    • Firefox

      1. Click the menu ☰ in the top-right corner → Settings.

      2. Go to Privacy & SecurityCookies and Site Data.

      3. Click Clear Data and select cached content.

  3. Disk Storage: If clearing the cache doesn't work, check your disk storage. Each user has a fixed storage limit—clear unnecessary chats and files to free up space.

🎺 Notice: Once files are deleted, they cannot be recovered. Please ensure you want to delete the files before proceeding. ⚠️ Don't delete chats that were used as the base for a remix, as it may lead to a failure of the remix.

If you're unsure, you can download your chats and files before deleting them. (Only Pro/Max Plan users can download the files)

You may also see the message "Disk Full" at the top of the page, which indicates the same issue. Please follow the steps above to resolve it.
