Go Annual, Get More

To provide users with more flexibility and cost savings, MGX now offers an annual payment (annual plan) option for our Pro and Max plans. The annual plan is designed for users seeking long-term value and a streamlined billing experience.

Annual Plan Discount

The annual plan offers a 21% discount(First tier) and a 18% discount (Non-first tier) compared to the total cost of 12 consecutive monthly payments. This means users pay for one year upfront at a significantly reduced effective monthly rate.

Savings & Credit Flexibility

  • Annual planners can also enjoy 25 bonus credits like Free and Monthly planners.

  • Annual credits are allocated in 12 equal monthly installments.

  • Any unused credits each month automatically rolls over within the same billing year (up to your annual limit) and remains available until the end of your annual cycle.

  • If you continue with an annual plan in the next billing cycle, any unused credits from the previous annual cycle can be rolled over to the new annual cycle (up to the annual credit limit for the current plan).

  • This allows you pace usage across busy and quiet months without losing value.

Plan Switching

Users can switch between monthly and annual plans at any time. When switching to an annual plan, the system will charge the full annual fee upfront and automatically deduct the value of credits already issued for the current month. The remaining amount will be stored as credit balance, which the system will automatically deduct each month throughout the annual cycle. If the user changes plans before the annual cycle ends, the remaining credits can be used to offset the new plan fee.

  • Upgrade from monthly to annual: Takes effect immediately, with instant access to the discount and annual credit allocation.

  • Downgrade from annual to free or monthly: Takes effect at the end of the current annual billing cycle.

For example:

Upgrade

Upgrade takes effect immediately, and your billing period will be updated to match the new plan.

If you are on a monthly plan and switch to an annual plan on 10 May 2025, the upgrade takes effect immediately. Your new billing period will run from 10 May 2025 to 09 May 2026. When switching from a monthly plan to an annual plan during the monthly billing cycle, any unused credits will roll over with the annual plan, for up to 12 months (up to the annual credit limit for the current plan).

Downgrade

Downgrade takes effect at the start of the next billing period, and your current billing period remains unchanged until then.

If your annual billing cycle is 10 May 2025 – 09 May 2026 and you change to a monthly plan on 10 May 2025, the change will not take effect immediately. You will keep your annual benefits until 09 May 2026, and the monthly plan will begin on 10 May 2026. Any remaining annual credits can only be used within the current annual cycle. After the cycle ends, these credits are non-refundable, non-convertible to cash or credits, and will not roll over to the monthly plan.

Credit Rollover Policy

Unused credits at the end of each month roll over within the same billing year, up to the annual credit limit. Rollover across renewals is limited to one billing year: at renewal, any remaining balance may carry into the next billing year (up to the annual limit), but will not carry over beyond that year. If you cancel (or do not renew), all unused and rolled-over credits expire at the end of the current billing period. Credits have no cash value and are not refundable.

Purchase and Billing Process

The annual subscription requires a one-time upfront payment for the entire year. On the pricing page, users can toggle between Monthly and Annual to view the respective rates. Credits for annual plans are allocated in 12 equal monthly installments over the subscription period.
